How the Program Works

Confidential Emergency File

We store your family's information securely, ready to act the moment you call. Your file is encrypted, role-restricted, and never shared outside AHVED.

Designated Caregivers

You choose who cares for your children if you cannot be there. We keep your caregiver's contact information on file and ready to reach immediately.

24-Hour Response

One call activates your plan. Our team reaches your family immediately, verifies your safe word, and coordinates support.

Who This Program Is For

This program is for any Haitian family in Florida living with immigration uncertainty — whether you hold TPS, have a pending case, or have no current status. If you have children in the United States and you are worried about what would happen to them in a crisis, this program is for you.

AHVED is a community support organization. We are not a government program. We are not affiliated with law enforcement, immigration authorities, or any agency that reports to the government. Your information stays with us, in service of your family.

You do not need to be an AHVED member to register. You do not need documentation to participate. You simply need to want a plan in place for your children.

Your Privacy Is Protected

All family files are encrypted and stored on secure, access-controlled servers.

Only authorized AHVED program staff can access your record. Access is logged and audited.

Your information is never shared with government agencies, law enforcement, immigration authorities, or third parties without your prior written authorization — except in situations where AHVED is acting directly on behalf of your child with documentation you have provided.

You may request to update or close your file at any time by calling our office.

Register Your Family Today

The registration takes about 10 minutes. You will receive a Family ID number and a confirmation by email. Your plan is active immediately.
