How You Can Help
Event Support
Help set up and run community events — back-to-school drives, food distributions, health fairs, and cultural events.
Health Fairs
Assist at AHVED health screenings and education events. Healthcare professionals especially welcome.
Education Programs
Support tutoring, literacy programs, financial literacy workshops, and youth education sessions.
Administrative Support
Help with data entry, communications, social media, and outreach materials.
Translation & Interpretation
Creole, French, Spanish, and English speakers help us serve more community members effectively.
Media & Photography
Document events and help tell AHVED's story through photos, video, and social content.
Volunteer Requirements
- • Must be 16 years or older (under 18 requires parental consent)
- • Complete a brief volunteer orientation (in-person or virtual)
- • Background check may be required for roles working with children or vulnerable populations
- • Commitment to AHVED's values: community, integrity, and service
