🇭🇹

Haiti Disaster Response

After the 2010 earthquake, 2021 earthquake, Hurricane Matthew, and other disasters, AHVED mobilized the diaspora for rapid relief — food, medicine, and supplies.

Why This Program Exists

Food insecurity does not wait for the right moment. A job loss, a hurricane, a medical crisis — any of these can push a family that was barely managing into genuine hunger. For immigrant families who may not know which programs they qualify for, or who fear that asking for help will affect their immigration status, reaching out can feel difficult.

AHVED's Food Distribution and Emergency Support program is here to make getting help easier. If you need food, we are here. You are welcome.
