About This Event
AHVED's annual Back-to-School Giveaway is one of our biggest community days of the year. Hundreds of children receive free backpacks packed with grade-specific school supplies, hygiene kits, and more.
The event is free, open to all families and fully trilingual in English, Haitian Creole and Spanish. Bring the kids, bring your neighbors, and bring a bag — everyone goes home with something.
Volunteers are needed for setup (7 AM), backpack assembly, distribution, and cleanup.
Who Can Attend
Open to all families with school-age children in the West and East Coast of Florida. First come, first served while supplies last. Children must be present to receive their kit.
